best feeling in the world is being wanted..
my first real bench ruling was done today. i've always pulled out the bench card with the kids but i never really played it.. until today. i think i know now how sonia felt when she actually benched a kid for the first time last weekend. it's not something i really like to do, but as Lauren says even though they don't like it they'll respect you for it. it's true.
i really love those kids even though they get roudy and all.. they're awesome. like man, they make my day, week, my ALWAYS.
though i didn't get to stay long this weekend i still enjoyed my time with them.
oh, the best feeling in the world is being wanted, as i stated in the beginning.. this brings back to when i was saying by to everyone and then lil aaron stopped me as i was walking off.. the conversation went a little something like this:
A: Where you going?
R: I'm going home.
A: Oh, well.. you don't have to go.
R: Oh, i know. Why do you want me to stay?
A: Yeaaa..
Awww, he's a cutie. great time today. i'm missing it. but i hope SOL day turns out good for them.
