may buhay ^_^.: Kidz Reach(es) out to Berkeley church :]

OMG, this friday/saturday was such a great experience.. though i felt tired today. i found it very rewarding. it was such a spiritual and bonding experience w/ the PUC and Cal Berk students. I really liked how us as PUC students just grew closer just by sharing our testimonies about Kidz Reach.. and it's just like how we acted like brothers and sisters out there. it just made me happy that we weren't just the kidz reach volunteers, but just like family hanging out. lol i know.. it's pretty corny.. lol.

Well yeah, I should have told you the whole 411 on why we were there at berkeley this weekend. well.. it was because they found our ministries to be interesting and wanted to hear more about it. So Karen, one of the very first kidzreach volunteers who is AWESOME! got talking to the berkeley church and so we went over there to teach them about our ministries and how it works.. because they want to expand it and have another chapter of kidzreach in their community. omg, it was awesome.. the first night (friday) we had the whole awkward meet and greet thing going on .. hot dogs and potato salad was awesome by the way! :] anyhoo. yeah and then we had vespers and then had our testimonies to the Cal Berk students.. i was hecka nervous.. but I'm glad I went because it helped me and kindddddaaaaa prepared me for the church sermon that was today. but after vespers.. we were just hella chillin' together.. playing pingpong, pool, air hockey.. haha it was fun. today was a long day.. and i didn't get a whole lot of rest last night.. so i was like awww, i'm drained. but i think it was good. had the sermon, (hawwwweeee, made me cry. aw) and yeah after that we had the kidzreach workshop it was long but that was okay. and then after that we went to eat out.. we ate at this indian resturant .. it was hecka good food. i was stufffeedd. like literally. it was good talking to the berkeley peeps and just like mingling getting to know some of them. like andrew, he's pretty cool. i actually got his autograph (sasha inspired me.. lol) cuz he's in this band called Melting Point.. and he was handing out flyers. i thought it was hilarious. i have it on my corkboard right now too. lol. i had a great time just getting to know them and just hanging out with everyone. i really needed that after a long lonnnng week. We will see each other soon again. haha. In two weeks we are going mud caving so that should be fun. Lol! :] YAY. welllllll.. i'm so tired.. i'm gunna go to sleep. yay, banquet tomorrow. fun! night!
