ANCIENT!
ah, i haven't been on blogspot for the longest time.
and i mean i told myself that i wouldn't do this, i even gave tumblr up for lent because it was way to distracting for me.
but strangely, when i do use tumblr, i hardly post anything, and now that i'm not using it, i have a gazillion things to blog about. haha, that reminds me of barney from himym (i'm going to put this in my blog!) hahahaha! classic.
but yeah i'll try and make this short and sweet, but my ass just doesn't get to the point quickly. let's try.
so.. it just goes back to the post of that .gif of d.rose saying "all the days that you wake up you have one job, and that is to get better every single day." and i believed it. and i still do. but it's true when they say, "actions speak louder than words." they suuuuure do. anyways, i thought about that quote when i was looking through a bunch of photos on fb. facebook stalking. and so i came across a lot of family, friend pictures, but then i suddenly came to a homeless person holding a sign, in my city. the same city the person's pictures i was looking through. at first i was like.. huh? ... okay. and then i kept scrolling through and i figured out that these guys went around town and gave all the homeless people McDonalds sandwiches. i mean, granted that's not really a healthy meal, but anything helps, really. i was thinking that it was probably on a holiday such as thanksgiving or something, but.. WOW, i was pretty impressed. it touched my heart that they would really do that. it's because you honestly don't see that happening often, well especially coming from a city such as mine. happens in rare occasions. BUT WOW! it's amazing how God works, mysteriously, but amazing. I'm glad that there are still kind-hearted people out there, who would reach out and serve.
brings things into prospective, from time to time, we all get caught up in our daily lives, and what we have to do to survive type thing, but it's nice to break away from all that and understand that we are put on this earth for a purpose, we just have to find that purpose and use it.
